Tvia Announces Bruce Berkoff as New Board Member

SANTA CLARA, Calif.–– Mar. 5, 2007 ––Tvia, Inc. (NASDAQ CM: TVIA), a leading provider of digital display processors for advanced flat-panel TVs, today announced that Bruce Berkoff has joined Tvia’s board of directors.

Bruce Berkoff is currently the chairman of the LCD TV Association, a global not-for-profit trade association. Previously, he was chairman, president and CEO of Enuclia Semiconductor, a fabless semiconductor company in the HDTV video processor space, and executive vice president and chief marketing officer for LG. Philips LCD, one of the world’s leading LCD manufacturers. He has also held executive management positions at several technology companies, including Philips Components, UMAX Computer Corporation, Radius Inc. and SuperMac Technologies.

Mr. Berkoff earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Princeton University and a graduate degree in biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley.
