Ya Hsin Now Shipping 32-inch and 37-inch LCD-TVs -Based on Tvia LCD-TV Design and TrueView Video Processor

  SANTA CLARA, Calif.–– Oct 12th 2006
–– Tvia, Inc. (NASDAQ SmallCap: TVIA), a leading provider of digital display processors for advanced flat-panel TVs, broadcast digital DVRs, consumer displays, and monitor products, today announced that Ya Hsin Industrial Company Ltd. (YHI) is now shipping a line of LCD-TVs based on Tvia LCD-TV designs using TrueView 5600 digital display processors.
 
YHI is shipping the 32-inch (LT32F1V1) and 37-inch (LT37F1V1) LCD-TVs to markets in the European Union (EU). The Tvia LCD-TV designs are now in mass production in two YHI factories in mainland China. Both models accept all European High Definition and Standard Definition TV video standards.
