SANTA CLARA, Calif.–– Dec 19th 2006
––Tvia, Inc. (NASDAQ CM: TVIA), a leading provider of digital display processors for advanced flat-panel TVs, broadcast digital DVRs, consumer displays and monitors, today announced it has begun shipping NBG-branded LCD-TVs for the hospitality market. The flat-panel TVs are based on Tvia’s turnkey reference designs using the TrueView™ 5600 digital display processor.

These product shipments mark a significant shift in Tvia’s business strategy into the design and manufacture of flat panel televisions for third parties.
